A look at Kreutzer's dolls and her doll-making abilities

Kreutzer can create dolls capable of independent thought, personality and combat styles. They also have bombs of varying strength built into them that can be activated on physical contact with an enemy. Don't worry; the dolls won't detonate them unless they feel they have to!

However, the dolls can't instantly activate their bombs, it takes time for the bombs to charge and become active, which will be referred to as "flow." Once their flow is full, the bombs are live and are ready to explode!

I'll also use the word "planeshift" when describing some of the dolls. All it really means is just the dolls slowing down time so they can have an easier time navigating through bullet patterns or fly somewhere in a short time. Each one is also capable of flight. Below are all the 13 dolls she can make, but if she receives requests, Kreutzer just might be able to make your character a doll if you ask nicely!

The 13 dolls are all sorted into tiers as they're organized in the game. Since they're all very situational, it's hard to say one doll will always be better than the others, but they definitely have their uses!

Low-tier dolls

Leaf

Childish and wide-eyed, Leaf understands how important it is to do the right thing and to always give it her best shot. She may not be very strong, but she has spirit that rivals the other dolls. She is also tied for having the most damaging bomb out of the 13.

Regular shots: Leaf cutter – Simple, green and blade-like, these shots generally shoot straight ahead. They don’t do much damage.
Mana action: Soma Twilight – Leaf can activate a planeshift at will to help her navigate through tight bullet patterns or move around faster. When activated, flow charges twice as fast.

Clover

Even during the heat of battle, Clover makes sure to always be polite and treat others with respect. She’s honest and can admit when she can’t do things on her own, a trait too few people have. Clover is also quite knowledgeable, a fan of superstition and surprisingly fast.

Regular shots: Lucky Ray – A piercing pink laser. It’s stronger than the Leaf Cutter and travels quickly, but so can all lasers. It also leaves behind an after-image when moved; they linger for only a split second, but are just as damaging as the laser itself.
Mana action: Rising sword – Clover charges up her energy and releases it into a sword-shaped laser attack. She’s invincible while it’s active and it does a nice deal of damage, but it only lasts about 2-3 seconds and cuts her mana in half.

Rooty

Rooty’s the kind of girl who can look danger in the eye and laugh. She has a spunky attitude towards everything and can sometimes get excited about random things. She also tends to be a bit spontaneous with her actions, so it’s hard to guess what she’ll do next.

Regular shots: Drill Cannon – The two options surrounding her fire these penetrative bullets. Rooty can rotate them to fire in several different directions or aim both in front of her or behind her.
Mana action: Blazing Spinner – Rooty spins through the air and her entire body is engulfed in flame. This does no damage to others, but she is completely invincible as long as she’s spinning. She can still fire her shots during this time.

Assam

She is a very focused individual who doesn’t let her targets out of her sight; whether they’re goals or an enemy, Assam doesn’t let anything slip by without her knowing about it. As such, she tends to be pretty nosy and finds herself in trouble more than she’d like, but at least she’s a pretty decent hunter!

Regular shot: Magical Missile – No relation to the D&D spell of a similar name. Individually they’re not too strong, but Assam can launch several of them at once and they lock on to targets and don’t disappear until they’ve hit something.
Mana action: Unlimited Missile – Pretty much a barrage of Magical Missiles. They’re just as strong as the regular shot, except a lot more of them.

Mid-tier dolls

Earl

She is definitely the most lifeless out of all the dolls; this stems more from her robotic nature than anything else, though. Earl may not be the most exciting conversationalist with her brief responses and one-dimensional way of thinking, but she’ll attempt any task presented before her.

Regular shot: Rallyman’s beam – It’s a homing laser that can twist and bend to attack multiple targets at once. It looks pretty intimidating, but isn’t as harmful as one would want.
Mana action: Daath Whisper – Earl activates a planeshift similar to Leaf’s Soma Twilight, but this one actually boosts the damage Earl can do with her beam. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last as long as it should.

Dimbula

Despite being rather playful and looking like a child, Dimbula is more of an old woman than one would expect. She outright refuses to separate from her floating ball and has an old-timer’s perspective on things. That said, she’s also quite supportive of others and likes telling stories and rambling on and on and on and on…

Regular shot: Photon Spread – When fired at burst, it’s a burst of pellet-like shots. If charged, the energy can be combined into one shot; this can be charged up to three levels and Dimbula can fire all three charged shots at once.
Mana action: Sawada Sacrifice ’05 – In exchange for mana, Dimbula can charge her flow and detonate her bomb without colliding into enemies. However, if she runs out of mana while doing this and doesn’t fill up her flow, she’ll die on the spot.

Sikkim

Sikkim is a girl with little to no sense of subtlety. She’s honest, but she can sometimes sound more brutal than intended. She’s also not afraid of getting into fights; they’re what she’s best at, after all. Don’t be bothered by the fact that she refers to herself in the third person; that’s just her confidence.

Regular shot: Panzer Knuckle – Sikkim can launch her fists forward like rockets and punch from a distance. Once they reach maximum distance, her fists release a mini-explosion. Even after they explode, her fists will return to her so she can keep punching everything.
Mana action: Missile Smash – She launches both of her fists at the same time for devastating results. It’s obviously stronger than her regular punches, but it can sometimes work against Sikkim by launching bullets at her. They’re easy enough to dodge, but still unwelcome.

Peco

Peco is both a talented swordsman and a major food connoisseur. She’s always hungry for a fight and for food and just might go out in search of both! Of course, those who don’t want to fight can just cook her something and she’ll leave them alone; she’s simple-minded enough like that. She also speaks of food in each one of her sentences.

Regular shots: Blazing Edge – Peco’s swords catch flame with each swing. She’s the only doll that has to be in close range to fight, but that makes her attacks all the more intimidating. One might even say that her skills with her flaming blades are a majestic dance.
Mana action: Zion Slayer - Peco starts off with no mana, but it fills up with each hit she delivers to an enemy. Once it’s full, she can stop time for a very brief moment, when then becomes a planeshift as she releases several powerful shockwaves all around her. She is completely invincible for the duration of this attack.

High-tier dolls

Platina

Platina has a much darker attitude than the other dolls; she’s much more doomy, negative and well aware of her incredible power. Whatever’s truly bothering her, she has a level of determination that even Death has to admire. Being based off of a villain lets her get away with this. In fact, she is powerful enough to have her own Zone of Control, which slows non-laser projectiles to a crawl. She also has the second most powerful bomb and the largest bomb out of the dolls.

Regular shots: Vile Lotus – Her bullet pattern has the greatest reach and spread; her bullets spread out in a flower pattern that fires from all sides at once. The bullets themselves aren’t too strong, but they’re spread enough to be perfect for large groups of enemies. Her Zone of Control increases while she’s firing until its circumference roughly triples.
Mana action: Black Blossom – Platina shoots out a harmless looking black lotus flower. It floats forward for a second and explodes into a violent spread of bullets. They’re as strong as her regular shots, but because they’re compacted together at the start of the explosion, it can do a sizeable amount of damage to a single target if it sticks to them. It empties her mana, but since she recovers it very quickly when not firing, this ability can be slightly spammed.

Lovers

She’s nearly as childlike as Leaf, but has a hint of maturity after accepting the responsibility of her power. Lovers stands up for those who can’t stand up for themselves and uses her powers to assist anyone she can. She has a simplistic few on good and evil, but it enough to make her fight for justice.

Regular shot: Star Fire/ Star Beam – When fired rapidly, Lover’s gun fires moderate-strength bullets that quickly spread out in a fan shape. When held down, the bullets concentrate into a powerful laser that travels quickly in a straight line and can constantly be fired at no additional cost. The laser is as lethal as Peco’s flaming swords, so it’s no wonder Lovers is a high-tier doll!

Mana action: Daath Wind – A simple and typical planeshift that lasts as long as Leaf’s Soma Twilight, but does not provide any additional effects.

Fortuner

Simply put, Fortuner is a soldier-type doll who takes her tasks as they come. She’s always level-headed and ready for action, but she’s still capable of showing concern for others. She prefers following orders and playing things safe as opposed to taking risks, but if it gets down to it, she’ll do what she has to if it means getting the job done.

Regular shots: Dual Shot – A simple name for a simple attack. Fortuner shoots from both of her guns at once with remarkable firing speed. They’re a few steps down from Lovers’ Star Beam, but are still stronger than most of the shots of other dolls.
Mana action: Fortune Wheel – Fortuner throws a Celtic cross directly in front of her. It can travel incredibly far and any non-laser projectiles that come in contact with it are erased. If it comes in contact with an enemy, the wheel activates a planeshift for Fortuner to take advantage of. It also does a bit of damage, but the planeshift is the bigger appeal.

Fool

As one would expect from her maid’s outfit, Fool is a trained servant who lives to…well, serve. Unfortunately for her, she’s pretty forgetful and a bit of a klutz, but since she flies around on a pumpkin with a “:3” face on it, she’s improving her balance! She can also take more punishment than other dolls and has the fastest flow charge, but she has the weakest bomb with the smallest range. She’s very inexpensive to create, which a feat considering she’s a high-tier doll.

Regular shot: Rachel Hammer – Fool tosses spiky metal balls at her enemy. Each one does moderate damage, but she can only shoot two per second and each one travels slowly; a regular person could easily outrun these shots. Fool is more meant for bombing than shooting, anyway.
Mana action: Jump – Seriously, that’s it. It doesn’t even cost any mana! However, she can very easily dodge attacks because of this. Even if she doesn’t have as much grace as a maid should, her flying pumpkin is fast enough to always catch her as she falls.

God-tier doll

Sphere 13

Kreutzer’s most powerful doll. She doesn’t understand her fully, but Sphere 13 is a super-powered and fully matured Leaf. She’s essentially the antithesis to Platina: an optimistic savior-type who fights valiantly for the safety of others and balance in the world. Some might consider over just being melodramatic, but she takes everything very seriously. With no surprise, she’s tied with Leaf for the strongest bomb in the game, but why would anyone make such a rare and powerful doll play kamikaze?

Regular shots: Sunlight Wing – Sphere 13 takes Leaf’s regular shots and makes it much stronger, but slightly weaker than Lovers’ Star Beam. She fires three strings of shots at once: one directly in front of her and the other two by her sides, fired in a flapping pattern as if they were wings. The bullets also have incredibly fast flight speed.
Mana action: The Overworld – Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure reference aside, this is an incredibly powerful spell; with it, Sphere 13 can stop time entirely. With little surprise, she’s completely invincible while the spell is active. She can also continue firing while time is stopped, so when the spell ends, the enemy will suddenly find a wall of bullets rushing towards them.
